II Boys goES Hockey Cup'09

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:

Sports Facilities: Club Junior Sport & Spa
Fields: field 1 + field 2
Dates: 3, 4 and 5 January 2009 (3 days)
Categories: Boys U16 & U18
Num. Teams: 6 teams x category divided in two groups
Price per player: 30€

TOURNAMENT RULES:

All the teams will play 4 matches in 3 days.

The tournament has 2 zones “A” ,“B”
Every team will play against the other teams from the opposite zone.
Every team will score points individually.
The two teams that will score most points will play the final.
The two teams that will occupy 3rd and 4th position due to their score will play for the bronze medal.

Match halves
Every match will consist of two match halves lasting 30 minutes each.
There will be a halt-time of 5 minutes.
Every team will have till 18 players in a match.
The official field hockey rules will be used.

Score
For every won match you get 3 points.
For every drawn match you get 1 point

Draw in points
In case of equalized scores in the final classification, the definition will be the following:
1- The team that scores more will be better classified.
2- If they continue to be equalized, the team that concedes fewer goals will be better classified.
3- If they continue to be equalized, a draw will be carried out. The name of every team will be written on a piece of paper, all the pieces will be put in a bag and they will be taken out one by one. The first will occupy the first position, the second – the second one and so on till the last name is taken out.

Awards
1 Cup for the champion
1 Cup for the best player, 1 Cup for the best goalkeeper, 1 Cup for the player that scores most, 1 Cup for the best team Fair-Play
Medals for the first three teams
All the participant teams in the tournament will have “The Third Half” after the awards ceremony
